Carolyn Michael joined Dr. Torie's Dental Shoppe in June 2017. We are so happy to have her as a valuable addition to our dental team.
Carolyn graduated from Indiana University Northwest Hygiene School in 2005. In her thirteen years practicing hygiene in Northwest Indiana, she has most enjoyed working with a wide variety of patients. She focuses on a "holistic" approach to hygiene in which she views the mouth as a window to the overall wellness of the whole person. Carolyn is also committed to educating patients about their dental hygiene and encouraging healthy habits. She has introduced the practice to many cutting edge products and loves to contact suppliers for samples of new and innovative products.
In her free time, Carolyn enjoys exercise, running and biking. She keeps herself busy with her family of three children, Seth, Tristen and Payton and she enjoys seeing live music and sampling local microbrews with her husband Chris.
